DESCRIPTION
Second Skin. Zero Compromise.
Genuine AAA-grade cabretta leather, engineered to survive the exact spot every other glove dies.
Most cheap golf gloves are synthetic — vinyl or polyurethane blends that never really break in, don't breathe, and go stiff or slick the moment your hands sweat. Cabretta leather is different. It comes from hair sheep, and its tight, thin grain is what gives a glove that famous "second-skin" feel — it molds to your hand instead of sitting on top of it, so you can hold the club lighter and swing with real feedback instead of fighting a stiff piece of material.
But here's what almost nobody tells you: "cabretta" on its own doesn't mean premium. It's just the name of the leather type — it says nothing about the grade, the thickness, or how it was processed. Just like diamonds or beef, leather is graded, and there's a massive gap between the top tier and the bottom of the barrel. A lot of gloves marketed as "cabretta" use thin, low-grade hide that costs the brand less — so you end up paying premium prices for a glove that still tears out at the palm in a handful of rounds, because the leather underneath the label was never actually premium to begin with.
Tour Skin starts where those gloves stop pretending: genuine AAA-grade cabretta, the top fraction of hides available, cut at the thickness that holds up — then reinforced exactly where ordinary gloves fail first, at the palm and thumb. You get the true second-skin feel serious golfers chase, without the trade-off that's burned you before.
And because you're paying for the best leather on the planet, it shouldn't look like everyone else's. Tour Skin comes in bold, original designs made for golfers done disappearing into a sea of identical white and pearl gloves — tasteful enough for the first tee, sharp enough that someone's going to ask where you got it.
What you're getting:
- Genuine AAA-Grade Cabretta Leather — the top-tier, virtually flawless hide, not the ungraded stuff hiding behind the word "cabretta"
- Reinforced Palm & Thumb Zones — built to resist the exact wear pattern that kills ordinary gloves in a handful of rounds
- True Second-Skin Fit — molds to your hand for a lighter, more natural grip
- Breathable, Sweat-Ready Construction — stays tacky, not slimy, through hot, humid rounds
- Bold, Original Designs — standout without stepping into gimmick territory

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will the magnet actually hold, or will I lose it like other water brushes?
This is the #1 complaint with other magnetic brushes — weak magnets that let go mid-round. We re-engineered ours for tour-grade hold, tested to stay clipped through a full 18 holes. And just in case it ever does come off, the bold blue design means you'll spot it instantly in the rough, the cart, or the bottom of your bag.
Will it leak in my bag?
No. The reservoir has a reinforced, fully leak-proof seal — built specifically to solve the reason most golfers say they'll never buy a water brush again.
Is the water pressure actually strong enough to clear packed mud, or is it just a damp brush?
It's a real water-gun-style sprayer, not a passive squeeze. It delivers an actual pressurized burst into the groove channel — strong enough to dislodge compacted mud that a towel just smears around and a soft squeeze bottle can't shift.
Will the bristles scratch my clubs?
No. The bristles are soft nylon — aggressive enough to flush out packed debris, but safe on any finish, including black PVD and other premium coatings that wire brushes are known to strip.
How long does the water last? Will I be refilling constantly?
One fill gets you through 18+ holes. Fill it once in the car park and forget about it for the whole round.
Do I really need this? My clubs are pretty self-cleaning.
Golf Digest tested it: a clean 60° wedge spins at ~10,552 rpm. The same wedge after one round of normal play, uncleaned, drops to ~5,759 rpm — nearly half the spin, gone. That's not a swing problem. It's mud sitting between your clubface and the ball, killing the friction that creates spin.
Is my bad shot really an equipment problem, not a swing problem?
Often, yes. Today's Golfer measured a 52.5% backspin loss on a mud-packed 7-iron — along with lost ball speed and a flatter, less controlled flight. The wedge that "releases" past the pin or the chip that rolls off the green is frequently dirty grooves, not a flawed swing.
Will it fit on my bag?
Yes. It's compact and clips securely to any standard golf bag strap or D-ring.
Does it work on all my clubs — wedges, irons, woods?
Yes. The larger brush head is designed for full coverage across wedges, irons, and woods alike.
Is £25 worth it for a golf brush?
It's less than a sleeve of Pro V1s, and it's recovering performance you've already paid for in your clubs. If dirty grooves are costing you even one shot a round, it pays for itself the first time you use it.
What if I don't like it?
You're covered by our 60-day return policy. If it doesn't change your rounds, send it back — no questions asked.

Frequently asked questions
Why TruePutts?
Q: Why not just use a wire brush?
A: Wire brushes can scratch expensive club finishes, especially on black-coated wedges or painted woods. They also don't provide water, so you're just moving dry dirt around unless you have a wet towel (which brings us back to the towel problems). TruePutts gives you the cleaning power with complete safety.
Technical Questions
Q: How much water does it hold?
A: The reservoir holds approximately 4 oz of water, which is the perfect amount for 18+ holes of golf without being too heavy or bulky on your bag.
Product & Performance Questions
Q: Will this actually improve my game?
A: Clean grooves can improve spin by up to 30%. When your grooves are packed with dirt, grass, and debris, your ball won't grip the clubface properly – leading to "flyer lies" and inconsistent ball flight. Golfers report better approach shot control, more backspin on wedges, and increased confidence knowing their equipment is optimized. As one customer said: "Didn't realize how filthy my grooves were until I used this – hit a wedge with actual backspin for once."
Durability & Build Quality
Q: How long will this last?
A: TruePutts is built with durable, BPA-free materials designed to withstand drops, weather, and constant use. The brush head is replaceable, so even after hundreds of rounds, you can keep the same reservoir and just swap the brush head for optimal performance. Many customers report using theirs for multiple seasons.
Usage & Maintenance
Q: How do I use it?
A: It's simple: 1) Press the button on top to wet the bristles and clubface, 2) Scrub the grooves and clubface firmly for 5-10 seconds, 3) Wipe clean with your towel. The entire process takes less time than trying to scrape grooves with a tee.
Sizing & Compatibility
Q: What size is it?
A: The brush is compact enough to fit comfortably on any bag without being cumbersome, yet large enough to clean your clubs effectively. The carabiner clip attaches easily to any golf bag style – cart bags, carry bags, staff bags, even push cart bags. It takes up minimal space and adds virtually no weight to your setup.
Dimensions are approximately 6" x 2.5" x 1.5".
